Bicarbonate of Soda is an extremely versatile, multipurpose, and gentle deodoriser renowned for its mild abrasive and deodorising properties. It is also a natural and sustainable neutralising acid.

Although it is similar to baking soda, Bicarbonate of soda does not have the raising agents needed for baking.

Uses for Bicarbonate of Soda

As an amazing all-around product, the Bicarbonate of soda has so many uses. It can be used with citric acid to make DIY bath bombs and serves as an alternative deodorizer.

Even more, as a shampoo mix, it can be added to your favourite shampoo and used once or twice a month to get rid of hair product residue. Plus, you can use it for soft face or body scrubs.

Bicarbonate of Soda can also be used 2-3 days a month as teeth whitening by applying a little to the paste on your toothbrush. Not recommended for those with sensitive teeth

You can also use it as a baking soda mouthwash and for cleaning make-up brushes.
