Rice Bran Oil – Refined

What is rice bran oil?

Originating from Japan, our rice bran oil is extracted from the bran of the rice kernel. The oil is yellow in colour and has a neutral scent.

What is rice bran oil used for?

Rice bran oil is a good source of tocopherols, vitamin E and ferulic acid. It has great moisturising and nourishing properties. Rice bran oil is also a fantastic emollient and absorbs very well into the hair and skin.

It has a comedogenic rating of 2 so it is unlikely to clog pores but may not be suitable for oily and acne prone skin types.

Rice bran oil is often used in skincare products like creams, lotions, face treatments and face masks.
